Five Rod Fest 2024

Five Rod Fest is back for its second year where we will be hosting an afternoon of live music in the field, PYO flowers, bar and BBQ.

The event will start at 3pm and there will be a BBQ with fresh produce from the farm and PYO flower pots available.

General admission tickets are available to purchase below. When you arrive you will be able to purchase a stamp for food and your flower pot for picking.

Please bring warm clothes, chairs and or a blanket to sit on. Parking will be available at Five Rod Farm inside the field.

Please note this event is weather dependent but fingers crossed the sun will keep shining.

Lots of love,

Vegetables with Attitude presents Five Rod Feast on the 9th & 10th August

Vegetables are back and the Attitude is strong. With more sun fuelled gusto, we bring before you our next supper club - “Five Rod Feast” hosted at none other than our very own Five Rod Farm.

Our passion for food is just as significant as our affection and dedication to growing it, so to pay homage to our love of growing AND cooking, we will be preparing our three-course set menu bang in the middle of the market garden.

We hope that the participation in an immersive food experience encourages a wider, loving gaze towards the food we eat, the knowledge about where it comes from and most importantly, who we're sharing it with!

We care about providing nutritious, vibrant and inspired food, from our soil and hands to you. Please, join us for an evening of sustenance, music and drinks on the 9th and 10th of August at Five Rod Farm, Kenton Hall.

We can't wait to share our creations with you. With love, VWA team. X

Illustrated Talk: No Dig Growing & the Five Rod Farm Journey

Cam describes his journey from allotment to eco-friendly market garden 'Five Rod Farm' at Kenton Hall and the organic 'No Dig' ethos.

Illustrated talk with slides and a short film: Five Rod Farm opened at Kenton Hall in 2022 and in a short time has become a successful organic market garden with an emphasis on community and an eco-friendly ethos. Everything is grown by hand and without chemicals to provide the healthiest produce, whilst also reducing food miles and single-use plastic.

Cam's talk will provide an insight into his personal journey as well as the practical side of no-dig food production.
