'Vegetables With Attitude' is back to present their take on ‘The Hunger Gap’.
The hunger gap is generally considered to be a time in early spring where the winter store has run dry, and the early fruits of spring are yet to have arrived.
A welcome cocktail, three starters, a main, and a desert will all be inspired by methods of jarring, foraging, fermenting, and seasonal produce, ensuring that delicious meals can still be made during this frugal time of the year.
Where possible, the ingredients will be organic and provided by local growers Cam Wheeler at Five Rod Farm and Jan Ashwell from his allotment.
As well as the welcome cocktail, there will be a bar selling alcoholic and soft drinks.
All food will be vegetarian. If you have any dietary requirements please let us know in advance. tickets are available as a two tiered system where the lower is for students and people with lower income. Only 30 tickets on sale.
Arrive at Earl Soham Village Hall at 6pm with the first course being served at 7pm For any further questions please contact: janashwell11@gmail.com or 07392 079796 We look forward to seeing you there!
